Welcome to a new way of experiencing the rich and magical history of the City of New Orleans.

NOLA Fitness and Rec Tours offers guided movement-based experiences through historic New Orleans routes. Sessions combine walking, functional fitness, breathwork, and wellness-focused movement in an accessible, outdoor format.

Rooted in Mississippi and Louisiana History, Nola Fitness Tours was born from a desire to restore health, heritage, and harmony across the Gulf South. Founded by Dottie, Queen of Fitness Tours, Army Veteran, Certified Personal Trainer, performer, and proud descendant of Hatian/Black Indigenous and Freedman, our mission is more than movement — it’s remembrance.

Through immersive fitness tours, aquatic wellness journeys, cultural food experiences, and youth enrichment, we guide our guests through stories written in the land, waters, and rhythms of our ancestors. From Congo Square to Fort Massachusetts, from paddleboards to plate lunches, we help you walk in strength and eat with purpose — reclaiming the past while restoring the future.

Fitness Level

All levels welcome
A Group: 30 Sec to 1 min exercise at each stop. Jogging to the next location.

B Group: 15 Sec to 30 Sec exercise at each stop. Slow Jog and walk to next location.

C Group: 15 Sec to 30 Sec exercise at each stop. Walk to the next location.

Modifications provided as needed.
